The outcome
- AI agents can invoke CRM actions through a shared tool layer instead of requiring a new automation for every task.
- Modules cover additional workflows such as blogs, social media, granular opportunity updates, and custom fields.
- Category modules load selectively to control context size and client access.
The challenge
Available MCP coverage did not include several GoHighLevel workflows needed in client implementations. Rebuilding each missing action as a separate automation would have repeated the same authentication, validation, and maintenance work.
How we did it
- Reverse-mapped the entire GoHighLevel API surface into a modular MCP architecture organized by category: contacts, opportunities, calendars, conversations, blogs, social posting, payments, locations, and more.
- Built a broad catalog of tools with strict input validation, opinionated defaults, and AI-readable descriptions tuned for reliable selection.
- Category modules load selectively so the token budget stays controlled.
- Productized to deploy per client with their own credentials, isolated from other tenants.
